PlayExpo London and MCM Manchester?

It’s been a while since I last updated the PuyoGB blog, and indeed a while since we received any news regarding any offline events, but I’m pleased to announce some developments during my time of absence.

Firstly, we are finalising talksĀ for hosting some Puyo Puyo Tetris tournaments at PlayExpo in London on the 11th and 12th of August. This tournament will be played on PS4 systems, and we will allow participants to bring their own controllers. We will be looking to play Swap and VS rules matches. Free-play sessions will be available. Once we’ve got the finalised information, we’ll bring you the news needed. You can find out more information about PlayExpo London by clicking here.

Secondly, while it’s been left really late, we are in talks with MCM Manchester to attempt to get a table for the 28th of July! It’s taken a long time for them to get back in contact with us, and we’re not entirely sure if we can commit to it, but we’re going to try nevertheless. If we do, it’ll just be the PuyoGB Laptop with some controllers to allow people to try the PC version of Puyo Puyo Tetris, followed by an MCM tournament. Other PuyoGB members will be around too. More information once we get it.

Finally, PuyoGB has submitted a request to host a side-tournament for Revolution 2018 in London. If our application is successful, we will be opening the doors for a mainstream tournament, and potentially may have the ability to stream the event.
